Kainn Minn was a Hapan Jedi Master in the Galactic Defenders. He peacefully left the Defenders in 26 ABY because of philosophical differences.

Biography

Kainn’s father was a Jedi in the days of the old republic, who escaped Order 66 and the subsequent purge to the Hapes Cluster, where he married a Hapan Noble. Shortly after they brought a son into the galaxy and named him Kainn.

When Kainn was 18 years old, he was an intern for Olanjii/Charubah on a business trip to Coruscant, to help negotiate dealings with the New Republic. While there, his force sensitivity was noticed by a Jedi by the name of Luto Krah. After a bit of convincing, he was taken to the Galactic Defenders headquarters on Goreh, and was initiated into the Galactic Defenders as Luto's new padawan.

At the age of 23, he ascended to the rank of Jedi Knight. He was assigned Zen Ford as his Padawan. Five years later, Zen was knighted, and with that Kainn was deemed a Jedi Master.

At the age of thirty, Kainn had a disagreement with the Defenders on doctrine, and left the order. He went peacefully. At no time did Kainn succumb to the dark side.
